LGM Signaline Linear Heat Detection

Linear Heat Detection (LHD) is a fire detection system that uses a line-type sensor to detect heat.

Using a line type detector, sometimes known as heat sensing cable, and a dedicated controller, LHD systems detect temperature increases anywhere along their length and trigger alerts when a predefined threshold is reached.

With durable cable coatings suited to harsh conditions, Linear Heat Detection is often used where alternative forms of fire detection are not well suited, especially industrial applications where airflow, chemicals, or contaminants are present.
